Our aim and Object
Date: 13.12.2022
Hello to everyone!
We are very delighted to inform you that we are working on our new project “World Peace Monument Stupa project” at Samthar Village, Kalimpong, West Bengal India.
Since long time back it was the plan and wish of late Master Lama Sonam Lepcha to construct a new monastery and stupa for the world peace and for the wellbeing of all sentient beings. He had already provided an area for the Samthar Village School which has given many local children an opportunity to study and to look forward for a bright future. And our next priority aim is that to construct toilets & washrooms for this very school in the future.
Under the guidance of late Lama Sonam Lepcha & Langpo Rinpoche when they were alive, we had planned and set higher goals to do something good for all. One of their vision and goal was to build a World Peace Stupa. He said that in this time of pandemic, war, and natural disasters (Kalayuga), degenerating time, we know that there are many ways to contribute the humanity and to our planet. But what one can easily do and contribute to others is by practicing generousity and constructing holy-shrine like Stupa, where everyone has access to pray and worship for the sake of whole sentientbeings.
After their demise, keeping their dreams in our mind, we with great respect commemorate them and their Dharma activities. And we came up with the conclusion that we will continue his mission at this very holy place of Samthar Village, the birthplace of late Lama Sonam Lepcha:
- to establish a monastery and stupa for the world peace.
- to support schools, under privilieged children in villages of Asia and in other continents of the world.
Since we are nonprofit organization to start and continue the project, which is to face lots of challenges and efforts. But we are determined to do that and achieve the goal.
As we all know that the construction works always comes with lot of expenses, time and efforts.
We have estimated that the cost of this project would come around, to keep it for long run, two crore of Indian currency which is = 241440.00 $.
As many know, we until now, we are independently supporting this project and it’s financial system based on any other individual willing to support the project and those sponsors and donors who had already contributed to this noble cause.
We are very optimistic and positive that your support is very crucial and very meaningful for us. Therefore, we appreciate fully to any sort of your contribution and support in coming days.
We thank you for your support!
